Steel guardrail - construction, BAB 43, Germany

Steel guardrails are a passive protection system with the two following profile types:

profile A Armco Flex beam
profile B Bethlehem safety beam

Site conditions and requirements necesseritate the assembly of various types of steel guardrails in conformity with the relevant specification TL-SP of the BMV.

Steel guardrails are mostly used as passive protection system on highways, federal roads and community roads. Aside this frequent range of application various special constructions exist.

In the past years steel guardrails have often been used to protect endangered parts of buildings or other objects requiring protection (tree-avenues, etc.).

The assembly of steel guardrails is carried out by experienced and skilled assembly crews. Further more, Hamco employs steel guardrail technicians, which regularly take part in training courses with examination certificates of the Gütegemeinschaft Stahlschutzplanken e.V. (Quality Association Steel Guardrails).

Only, hot-dip galvanized quality proofed products are used guaranteeing a long service life and true measurement.
