Economic considerations

The economy can be determined from direct construction costs, i.e. cost for design and execution of the construction, indirect costs resulting from construction time, such as cost for road diversion for bridge construction as well as maintenance costs.

Construction costs can only be evaluated for each specific project, generally, it may however be said that corrugated steel structures cost less than massive structures.
In case of poor conditions on construction site costs are lower, if for example pile foundation is required for a massive structure.

Design costs are extremely low, as they only include dimensioning, structural classifiaction, determination of foundation and design features.

With regard to the time of construction MultiPlate structures are unrivalled.
With appropriate execution of assembly and installation of corrugated steel pipe long-term maintenance costs are low.
